“Rethymno Mare Royal is closer to the sea. I can recommend this hotel. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at on vacation. The receptionists were great! The restaurant staff were perfect. The two brothers at the Artemis bar were great! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Apollon were excellent. A large selection of excellent dishes. Everything was spotlessly clean. No crowds or noise. Everything was tidy and clean. The rooms were spacious. My only regret is that I didn't remember the names of the hotel staff. I can't thank them by name.”

“Overall pretty satisfied. The food was amazing and quite a variety of choice. The rooms were good. Climate control and fairly spacious.
The pool is very nice and they have section only for adults as well. I passionately dislike the tiles by the pool. Why choose the tiles that will get the most slippery when wet right by a pool? Be careful when carrying drinks!
The service is about 80/20 in terms of quality. Most of the time they were really nice, but you also got some bartenders who really just hated their job and looked like they wanted to hide behind the bar. The beach bar was the best one and with the best service.”

“Our room was nice with everything we could need on a All Inclusive stay. Great view over the sea.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was perfect for us - and that also goes for the snack bar at the waterpark area. Really nice and gentle staff all over.

We also had a lot of fun with all the activities by the great animation team from Club Lookéa. They also had very funny and professional shows in the evening.
